This and That !!!

Today, I was just browsing through my old photos.....and look what I found!!!!
I didn't even remember I had these photos!!!!!
These are some things I made quite some time back.....
I had totally forgotten about them.....I was just uploading what
I was making recently......
I think I should keep digging into my old photos often.....
The reason I put all these photos together because, I did not have the
'in- progress' pictures.....
Here are some things I made......
Look, Enjoy and have Fun!!!!

This is a coffee table I decorated for my sons 3rd birthday....We cut a
cake on this table :)

Decorated Coffee Table

This is how I used candles on the cake (Cake Topper) for the same birthday......
Yes, It was a Spiderman theme.......
I just use one of my sons toy figurine in front of the candles......
My son loved it!!!!

Cake Topper

This is made on a refrigerator door using a Sticker Making Kit from
Fevicryl (India)...I think this product is discontinued now......
I made this about 6 years back, and it still looks like new :)

Sticker Art

This was the First Floral Arrangement I did during a festival at home....
It turned out to be gorgeous........I had never thought I could do this....

Floral Arrangement

This is a glass votive holder I had made using glass colors......

This is a vertical Note-Pad that I made.....
It is covered with textured paper and I have made a freehand design of
a necklace on it.....The photo is not so good, as my camera was really
not a good one :(

Decorative Note- Pad

This is a pot lamp I made during Diwali a few years back.....
Usually, its filled with wax and turned into a candle, but I preferred to
keep it empty and as a show piece at that time.......

These are a few clips and a ring I made using floral wire and nylon stockings.....
I gifted them to my little girl-friends :)

This is a vase I painted....I had to show a sample for an order and I used this
vase.....I gave the vase a silver base coat and then I painted 3 different motifs
on the same vase.....

This is a Madhubani border on the vase......

DIY Designer Tribal Wall Clock- Warli in Madhubani Style

Warli in Madhubani Style
There are some days when you just want to do something thats really not your everyday type of work......
I had one such day today....and I am glad I did :)
I had bought a wall clock which was lying around for quite some time.....
Today, I decided to dress up this clock......

I wanted the clock to look chic, and at at the same time a little tribal.....
So I thought, what better than Warli or Madhubani style ???
But, I just couldn't make up my mind on which style to use....
After much thought, I decided to do both.....Warli in Madhubani Style!!!!

I geared up with permanent markers this time...
First, I dismantled the clock and then removed its glass and cover....
The initial outline in Warli style was done freehand with a black marker.....

Then I filled up the design in Madhubani style with colored markers.....

After finishing the coloring part, I decided to add a little fun element.......
Do you see a little girl running around, just after the number '1' ???
Yes....There she is !!!
I glued a small cut-out of a Warli girl on the 'seconds' hand......
Now, she runs all the time :)

Anyways, after it was all nice and dry.....I put on the glass and the cover back on the clock......

Finally, I painted a Madhubani border on the outer rim of the cover, and my
designer wall- clock was ready !!!
This is how it looks on the wall ....
